The collection offers a broad overview of the most renowned motorcycle brands such as the iconic Vespas that have marked Italy's two-wheeled history.

Besides admiring the models on display up close, visitors can immerse themselves in the history of motorcycling through a rich collection of memorabilia and accessories. An engaging experience for all ages.

Torre di Mosto is home to an ancient rural settlement, once belonging to the Conti Giusti of Padua, consisting of buildings of agricultural architecture. Among them, the Barchessa opens its doors to the ‘Cappelletto Collection’. In these spaces, Cesare Cappelletto, an entrepreneur from Torres and the current owner of the complex, has realised his dream of exhibiting to the public his Collection of Vintage Motorcycles, cultivated for more than 40 years, attending trade shows every Sunday in northern and central Italy, as well as abroad, in search of specimens he had coveted for years.

One of the highlights of the collection are the Moto Guzzi motorbikes, grouped here from the first, the 1924 ‘Normal’, to the more recent ‘California 850’.

The spotlight is also on the Vespas, in particular the GS 150 and the legendary 50.

The Piaggio family also includes the famous Ciao, with the so-called ‘economy’ models, with front brake like a bicycle and no front suspension. Those who have owned one can find its model and colour here.

Other noteworthy exhibits include German BMW and Zündapp sidecars from the Second World War, true masterpieces that were never made again due to their high cost and sophisticated mechanics.

In addition, Frera, Italy's first motorbike factory, as well as Scrambler models by Ducati, Moto Guzzi and Mv Agusta, and other brands will be on display.

A large series of Bianchi, Dei and Graziella bicycles cover a large portion of the exhibits, along with the Jeep Willis and Indian motorbikes, which are among the American symbols of the Second World War.

There is also a bookcase with volumes dedicated to the motorbikes in question and a large collection of periodicals on vintage motorbikes, from the earliest publications to the present day.

The Cappelletto Collection represents a combination of history and mechanics, which will delight enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts alike.
